Leaving on a jet plane...

I am currently waiting for the shuttle to take me to the airport. From there I will board a plane which will me take me to Houston, Texas where I will board another plane bound for Manauga, Nicaragua. From there...who knows.

I am anxious, nervous, excited, scared, overjoyed, sad. A real mix. I'm going to miss my parents, my friends, my ferrets, and the comforts of my life here. I will be without a phone or a computer but I think it will be a good thing.

The next four months are going to be an adventure and I hope I can use this blog as an outlet for some of my reflections on those adventures.
